NYTimes – Business FDA Approves Moderna's mRNA Flu Vaccine
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Moderna's mRNA-based seasonal flu vaccine, the first of its kind, for older adults. The vaccine, named mFlusiva, uses the same mRNA platform as Moderna's Covid-19 shot and will be available for the upcoming flu season. The agency had initially declined to review the application before reversing course following public pressure.
