Nepal Tunnel Rescue

Rescuers pulled two hydropower workers alive from a tunnel in Rasuwa, Nepal, on Friday, nine days after floods and a slide of ice, rock and mud buried hydropower projects along the Trishuli River on Aug. 26. The Nepal Army released images of the rescue. The wider disaster has killed more than 1,200 people and displaced tens of thousands, with searches continuing for hundreds still missing.
