NYTimes – World China and North Korea Open New Yalu River Bridge
China and North Korea have officially opened the New Yalu River Bridge, a four-lane road crossing over the Yalu River, after a 12-year delay. The opening creates a major new route for cross-border trade and comes as the two countries expand ties despite international sanctions on North Korea. It follows about a month after North Korea and Russia opened a road bridge.
