Sky News – UK Next Wins Equal Pay Appeal
British retailer Next has won an appeal overturning an equal pay ruling that would have required it to pay shop workers the same as warehouse staff. A judge ruled the company can pay warehouse workers more because it is harder to recruit and retain them. The dispute had involved a £30m claim.
