Novo Nordisk sues Eli Lilly over 'misleading' weight-loss drug ads

Novo Nordisk has sued US rival Eli Lilly, accusing it of false and materially misleading advertising for its weight-loss and anti-diabetes drugs. The Danish company alleges Eli Lilly used outdated clinical trial data to make its treatments appear more effective than Novo's. The legal action was disclosed on Tuesday.
