Pakistan suspends PTI-led provincial government

Pakistan's president declared a state of emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and the federal government suspended the provincial government led by Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. The prime minister's office said the cabinet move followed the provincial government's 'deliberate disengagement from the fight against terrorism'.
