Death row inmate Christa Pike is walking with assistance and eating again in hospital about a week after Tennessee's failed lethal-injection execution attempt, her attorneys said Thursday. Her lawyers earlier said Pike, 50, was conscious and speaking while handcuffed and receiving critical care. She survived two lethal injections during the botched procedure.
