Tadej Pogacar Wins Fifth Tour de France

Tadej Pogacar won a record-equalling fifth Tour de France title as the final stage concluded in Paris. The Slovenian joined Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault and Miguel Induráin as a five-time champion. The closing stage was neutralised over safety concerns due to rain on the cobbles of the Butte de Montmartre. Pogacar said he is "improving a lot" and hinted he may be contemplating retirement, while runner-up Remco Evenepoel said he proved critics wrong.
