Europe's Tallest Virgin Mary Statue Unveiled in Rural Poland

A 55.6-metre (182 ft) concrete statue of the Virgin Mary has been unveiled in a small village in rural Poland, reportedly making it Europe's tallest Virgin Mary monument and taller than Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer. The inauguration ceremony drew hundreds of attendees and included Mass, traditional music and helicopters scattering rose petals.
