Pope Leo to Resume Audiences After Lung Cancer Surgery

Pope Leo XIV will resume Vatican audiences on 20 October, his first general audience since undergoing lung cancer surgery, the Vatican said. He was discharged from Rome's Gemelli Hospital on Saturday and appeared in St Peter's Square, pledging a gradual return to duties after the lower lobe of his right lung was removed.
