Sydney's $1.2bn Project Mars data centre plan scrapped

Property giant Goodman Group has withdrawn plans for a controversial $1.2 billion data centre, known as Project Mars, in Lane Cove, northern Sydney. The company said the decision followed changes to the policy and regulatory environment. The project had faced public push-back before being scrapped.
