Republican US Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas, who is facing re-election, has settled a roughly six-year-old debt with a bakery for treats supplied for a 2020 election watch party. Marshall said he had "no idea how this happened" and repaid the bill at double the amount after the Kansas business's collection attempts went viral online.
