Putin Pledges Non-Colonial Stance at Russia-Africa Summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin told African leaders at the third Russia-Africa Summit in Moscow that Moscow would not pursue "neo-colonialism", framing Russia as an alternative to former colonial powers. Delegates gathered to discuss trade, security, arms deals and grain supplies as part of the Kremlin's push to expand its footprint in Africa.
