NYTimes – World Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan Sign Joint Defence Pact
Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan have signed a joint defence pact under which an attack on any of the three countries is treated as an attack on all. The agreement was formalised at a meeting in Jeddah of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Saudi Arabia has recently faced drone and missile strikes it blamed on Iran’s allies in Yemen and Iraq.
