BBC News – Science & Environment Tropical Storm Isaias Forecast to Become Hurricane
Tropical Storm Isaias formed in the Gulf of Mexico off eastern Mexico on Wednesday and is expected to strengthen into the first Atlantic hurricane of the 2026 season by Thursday, forecasters said. The storm could approach the U.S. northern Gulf Coast on Friday and make landfall as a hurricane.
