Judge blocks Trump limits on foreign student and journalist US stays

A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump administration from implementing a rule that would have limited how long foreign students and journalists could remain in the US without applying for extensions. Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV said the administration's reasons for the restrictions were "exceptionally weak." The Department of Homeland Security rule was set to take effect a day after the ruling.
