UK to deploy Typhoon jets to defend Saudi Arabia from Houthis

The UK announced it will deploy RAF Typhoon fighter jets on defensive missions to protect Saudi Arabia from escalating missile and drone attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen. British Defence Secretary Wes Streeting called the Houthi attacks "absolutely despicable and dangerous for the region." The deployment is described as additional defensive military support for Riyadh.
