UK to deploy Typhoon jets to defend Saudi Arabia from Houthis

The UK will deploy RAF Typhoon fighter jets on defensive missions to protect Saudi Arabia from escalating Houthi attacks, the Ministry of Defence announced. Defence Secretary Wes Streeting called the Houthi attacks "absolutely despicable and dangerous for the region." The warplanes will operate in a defensive role over cities and critical infrastructure and will not be used to attack the Yemeni group.
