UN Expert: US Strikes on Alleged Drug Boats Could Be Crimes Against Humanity

A UN human rights investigator has concluded there are "reasonable grounds to believe" US strikes on boats allegedly carrying drugs in the Pacific and Caribbean could constitute crimes against humanity. The report says at least 68 attacks since September 2025 have killed more than 230 people and were not self-defence.
