US Signs Nuclear Cooperation Deal With Saudi Arabia

The United States and Saudi Arabia signed a civilian nuclear cooperation agreement on Wednesday, giving American companies priority access to reactors and fuel in a deal expected to last decades and be worth billions. US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said the agreements uphold nuclear safety and nonproliferation standards. The pact could allow Saudi uranium enrichment, drawing concern in Israel and among some US lawmakers.
