North Korea Fires Missiles After US Scales Back South Korea Drills

North Korea launched about 10 short-range ballistic missiles toward the sea, South Korea and Japan said, a day after the US scaled back joint military exercises with South Korea. Pyongyang said the reduced drills remained provocative. President Donald Trump had called the exercises "hostile" toward North Korea and said he would meet leader Kim Jong-un later this year.
