DOJ asks Washington to set aside 400 ballots from alleged noncitizens
The Trump administration's Justice Department asked Washington state election officials to set aside ballots from more than 400 people it alleges may be registered or voting without U.S. citizenship. Federal prosecutors sent a letter to the Washington secretary of state with a list of names. The request comes amid the administration's broader efforts to identify noncitizen voters.
