Sky News – World Israel imposes West Bank closures after Hebron attack
Israel has imposed widespread closures across the occupied West Bank and displaced residents after Palestinian gunmen killed two Israeli soldiers near Hebron. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the attack site and ordered security forces to cordon off the city. He vowed a major military operation with raids and demolitions, saying, "we will destroy this place." Israeli soldiers shot and killed two men the military said had carried out the attack; at least five people were injured, some critically.
