UK and allies condemn Israeli West Bank settlement expansion

The UK, France, Germany, Italy and Canada condemned Israel's expansion of West Bank settlements. Britain summoned Israel's top envoy and demanded a halt after authorities opened bidding for more than 1,200 homes. On Thursday, Israelis began moving into Kadim, the last of four settlements closed over 20 years ago to be repopulated, according to the local settler council.
