WFP Gaza aid cuts

The UN World Food Programme is cutting monthly food aid in Gaza from 1.6 million to 1.1 million people, leaving about 500,000 without support, because of funding shortages. The agency warned that two-thirds of Gaza's population remains acutely food insecure and 200,000 people are at risk of famine, with winter expected to deepen hunger.
