Emmerson Resources to present gold strategy at Proactive online conference on Wednesday

Emmerson Resources Limited (ASX:ERM) managing director Rob Bills will present at a Proactive online conference this Wednesday, May 27, from 12 noon AEST. The MD will present an outline of the company’s progress with its gold royalty business as well as exploration at the Tennant Creek Mineral Field in the Northern Territory, one of Australia’s highest-grade gold and copper fields. In early May, Emmerson entered a strategic alliance with NT Bullion Ltd for the Northern Project Area (NPA) at the Tennant Creek Mineral Field with NT Bullion to invest $2 million in Emmerson shares at a minimum of 14 cents per share. The first tranche of shares will raise around $200,000 and the second tranche will raise around $1.8 million, with the completion of both tranches of the placement due by May 31, 2020. Formation of an exploration earn-in and joint venture will also see NT Bullion fund the next $5 million of NPA exploration. To date, Emmerson discoveries include high-grade gold at Edna Beryl and Mauretania, along with copper-gold at Goanna and Monitor while the company is receiving royalties from gold production. NSW exploration Emmerson is also planning greenfield exploration work in a current exploration hotspot in Central West NSW - the Molong Volcanic Belt of the Macquarie Arc. The company has highly prospective ground within the belt, which also hosts Alkane Resources Limited’s (ASX:ALK) Boda discovery and Newcrest Mining Limited’s (ASX:NCM) Cadia Valley Operations. The Macquarie Arc hosts more than 80 million ounces of gold and more than 13 million tonnes of copper and the company’s five NSW projects contain many attributes of known deposits in the region. Emmerson is set to commence drilling at the Kiola Copper-Gold Project which contains favourable Ordovician-age intrusions that have porphyry potential.
