Universal Health Services making 'substantial progress' in restoring IT systems after cyberattack

More than a week after it was victimized by a cyberattack, King of Prussia-based hospital management giant Universal Health Services said Monday it has made "substantial progress" toward restoring online operations across all of the company's IT networks. UHS experienced a cyberattack early on Sept. 27 and responded by quickly disconnecting all systems and shutting down its IT network.
