Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) has received more encouraging assay results, which suggest that Mulga Bill at the Side Well Gold Project sits within a large mineralised system, with gold identified over more than 3 kilometres of strike and coincident with a deeper weathering profile and extensive shearing.  Assays from the remaining seven reverse circulation (RC) holes at the Side Well Gold Project near Meekatharra in Western Australia support the interpretation of a north-easterly trend to mineralisation, with intersections in holes 8, 9 and 10.  It also received initial assays from five aircore holes at the northern end of the Mulga Bill trend, with encouraging early results.  Further drilling key Great Boulder managing director Andrew Paterson said: "These initial RC holes have given us a lot of information on Mulga Bill, particularly the rock types and alteration associated with the gold. “Our aircore program covered more than 3 kilometres of strike which will be a valuable targeting tool for ongoing work. “The southern-most line is 650 metres further south than any previous exploration drilling and the depth of weathering and variable shearing we’ve logged in the main corridor of Mulga Bill indicate this is a big system. “We believe further drilling will be the key to unlocking its full potential.” RC drill program The RC program consisted of 12 holes for a total of 2,257 metres targeting strike extensions to mineralisation intersected in previous drilling. Immediately after this, a 66-hole aircore program was completed for 6,166 metres, with east-west fences of holes drilled between the previous 400 metres-spaced lines to increase anomaly definition and provide information for future RC planning.  The RC results include: ➢ 20MBRC008: o 16 metres at 1.70 g/t gold from 76 metres, including 4 metres at 3.62 g/t from 80 metres downhole, and o 1 metre at 7.35 g/t from 142 metres downhole; ➢20MBRC009: o 8 metres at 1.15 g/t from 130 metres downhole and o 3 metres at 1.16 g/t from 153 metres downhole; ➢ 20MBRC010: o 12 metres at 1.59 g/t from 92 metres downhole These holes are about 400 metres southwest of the high-grade intersection in 20MBRC004. Assays from Mulga Bill trend It also received initial assays from five aircore holes at the northern end of the Mulga Bill trend, with encouraging early results including: ➢ 4 metres at 2.13 g/t from 76 metres; and ➢ 12 metres at 1.10 g/t from 52 metres. These results are about 2 kilometres north of the RC drilling and tested the conductive corridor highlighted in Doray’s 2013 Heli-TEM survey. Samples from the other 61 aircore holes are expected to be received in the coming weeks. Next steps The next RC program is scheduled to commence in the second week of November at Blue Poles, within the Whiteheads project, followed by further RC work at Mulga Bill.
