Pro-democracy lawmakers step down

Fifteen pro-democracy lawmakers resigned from the Legislative Council Thursday in Hong Kong. Plus, Ghana's former leader, Jerry Rawlings passed away at the age of 73. And, Australia will appoint a special investigator with the power to prosecute allegations of war crimes by its troops in Afghanistan.
