TSMC announces $40 billion investment in Phoenix during Biden visit

The Taiwanese company unveiled its new investment — one of the largest foreign direct investments in U.S. history — at a ceremony attended by President Joe Biden, Apple CEO Tim Cook and TSMC's founder Morris Chang, among other industry officials.
