*Tyler, the Creator* performed his song 'LumberJack' at the BET Awards last night (June 27th).

The rapper's new album 'CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST' had been released for mere hours before Tyler took to the stage, battling a wind machine in the process.

Simple but expertly thought through, his take on 'LumberJack' sat within some of the Wes Anderson references he's used in visuals for this album to date.

Emerging from a kitsch but cute vintage car, Tyler the Creator then waded his way across the stage, leaves and debris blown into his face.

Reaching to empty a post box, it ranks as one of the night's best performances.

Tune in now.

Elsewhere, fans are digesting Tyler, the Creator's apology to Selena Gomez. The two are said to have a mutual dislike of one another, with Tyler exploding on social media a decade ago.

Sending Selena Gomez a string of explicit messages, he was almost forced off social media altogether after he wrote: “I just want to fuck Selena Gomez in her fucking mouth.”

On new song 'Manifesto' - which appears on 'CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST' - he raps: “I was a teener, tweetin’ Selena crazy shit. Didn’t wanna offend her, apologise when I seen her. Back when I was tryna fuck Bieber, Just-in.”

Selena Gomez has not responded to the song.
