Jawan injured in Poonch landmine explosion

A soldier was injured in an accidental landmine explosion along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kerni sector of J&K’s Poonch district on Saturday.“A drifted landmine got triggered when a group of soldiers were patrolling a forward area in the Kerni sector around 11.15am, leaving the soldier injured. The jawan, identified as Lance Naik Anshul Rawat, was immediately airlifted to Command Hospital Udhampur for specialized treatment,” said an official.
