Petitioners seek all rights flowing out of marriage

Finding the bench of CJI DY Chandrachud and Justices SK Kaul, SR Bhat, Hima Kohli and PS Narasimha receptive to the argument that LGBTQIA+ community members were part of society and must enjoy equal rights like their heterosexual counterparts, senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi had argued on Tuesday that there must be a declaration to this effect from the highest constitutional court to enable these people to enjoy life to the fullest and with dignity.
