After 34 years, Srinagar to see Muharram rally on major routes

After over three decades, the Shia community will be allowed to take out a procession in Srinagar on Thursday, the eighth day of Muharram, the J&K administration announced, reports Saleem Pandit. “The procession will be allowed to move on the traditional routes from 6am to 8am,” said Kashmir divisional commissioner Vijay Kumar Bidhuri.
