The previous longest streaks lasted seven days. The Air Quality Index (AQI) has been consistently high, with readings of 392, 402, 468, 415, and 454 in recent days. Experts warn that prolonged smog episodes can have serious health consequences and call for aggressive measures to reduce pollution.
