Navlakha's actual involvement in any terrorist cannot even be inferred from any letters or statements: HC

The Bombay high court granted bail to Gautam Navlakha, an accused in the Elgar Parishad case, stating that there are no terror acts attributed to him. He is chargesheeted under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and is said to be a member of the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist). The court found no evidence to support the accusations of terrorist acts, raising funds for terrorism, conspiracy, and support to a terrorist organization. Navlakha has been in custody for over three years and is currently under house arrest in Navi Mumbai.
