50 crore people now have Ayushman Bharat Health Account numbers: Govt

The Union health ministry announced that 50 crore people now have Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) numbers, with over 1.5 crore patients using the ABHA-based instant OPD registration service. The ABHA app is being used by more than 50 lakh people to manage their health records digitally. The National Health Authority (NHA) expressed satisfaction with the response to the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), stating that the goal of making healthcare more accessible and efficient is getting closer with increasing adoption of ABHA-based services. The ABDM is connecting all stakeholders in the healthcare sector via digital highways.
