Sisi sends message of support to his Lebanese counterpart

(MENAFN) Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry affirmed on Wednesday his country�s "solidarity with Lebanon and its support for efforts to form a new government," conveying Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi�s message of support to his Lebanese President Michel Aoun. Shoukry made his remarks during a meeting with Aoun at Baabda Palace, according to a statement issued by Lebanon's Presidency. Amid the meeting, Aoun voiced his admiration and gratitude for Egypt's starring role in supporting Lebanon�s battle against its various crises, specifically the governmental impasse. The Lebanese leader further discussed with Shoukry difficulties facing the government formation process, expecting to collaborate with all political parties to create a successful cabinet capable of assuming its duties.
