Emir of Kuwait agrees on government resignation

(MENAFN) According to the Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait agreed on the letter of resignation of the nation's government on Sunday. The KUNA also stated that the emir trained the government to operate temporarily till a new cabinet is created. As KUNA cited the Emir, "the resignation of the prime minister and the ministers is accepted, and each minister will continue in his position until the formation of the new government of Kuwait." On Nov. 8, the Kuwaiti government presented their letter of resignation to the emir. This notice comes the day before of a parliamentary meeting, the schedule of which involves interpellation of the prime minister as well as some of members of his government.
