Canadiens defenceman Chiarot out 6-8 weeks with broken hand

Montreal Canadiens defenceman Ben Chiarot could be out for the rest of the regular season after having surgery on his fractured hand suffered in a first-period fight with Canucks forward J.T. Miller last week.
