Heavy rain brings flash flooding in parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island

Heavy rainfall has caused flooding in parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, leading to a state of emergency being declared in one city. Leominster, located about 40 miles northwest of Boston, experienced significant flooding with water entering homes and stranding drivers.
