Pakistan court extends Imran Khan’s remand in cipher case

Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, has had his judicial remand extended until September 26 in a cipher case. Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, a former foreign minister, are accused of making public the contents of a confidential diplomatic cable. The cable was cited by Khan as proof of a US attempt to remove his government.
