Pakistan: Islamabad accountability court issues arrest warrants for Imran Khan

The Islamabad Accountability Court has issued arrest warrants for Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, in relation to the Toshakhana and Al-Qadir Trust cases. The Toshakhana case led to Imran Khan's disqualification from holding public office for five years, while the Al-Qadir Trust case involves allegations of corruption and abuse of authority which is currently under investigation. Imran Khan's wife has also been questioned in relation to the case.
