Iran top diplomat meets Hezbollah chief in Lebanon

Iran's Foreign Minister met with the leader of Hezbollah, which has traded deadly cross-border fire with Israel since the start of the Gaza war. The clashes between Israel and Hezbollah have raised fears of escalating exchanges of fire and a broader conflagration. Hezbollah fired rockets at an Israeli military base and carried out multiple attacks on Israeli positions near the border. Israel responded by shelling locations in southern Lebanon. The violence is a result of Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and Hamas' retaliatory air and ground offensive.
