Three migrants drown at US border amid dispute between Texas and White House

A woman and two children drowned in the Rio Grande as Texas military officials physically barred U.S. border agents from providing aid and arresting people crossing the border illegally. Texas's interference with federal authority over immigration is dangerous and inhumane, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The bodies of the woman and two children were recovered on Saturday by Mexican authorities, Cuellar said. The identities of the three people have not been made public.
