Canada to match US tariffs after trade talks collapse

Canada will match new US tariffs "dollar for dollar" after last-minute trade talks failed before a midnight deadline, Prime Minister Mark Carney said. The US imposed a 50% levy on $20 billion of Canadian imports, and Carney accused Washington of unfair last-minute changes. Ottawa vowed retaliation against its historic ally.
