Rudy Giuliani Says Lawyers Including Michael Cohen's Former Attorney, Reached Out To Him For Potential Trump Pardon: Report
A new report from the New York Times shedding some light on the pardon process involving President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
??Multiple people, connected with the Mueller probe have reportedly reached out to the former New York City mayor about the potential for a presidential pardon.
??Including Michael Cohen...according to a Wall Street Journal report, Cohen, through his former lawyer raised the idea of a pardon after the FBI raid of his home and office.
??That’s according to his current lawyer Lanny Davis.
??Rudy told the times quote, “I always gave one answer, and they always left disappointed.” ??However, the Journal reports that Giuliani left open the possibility of a pardon in the future.
??Now, this comes after Cohen, in front of Congress talked about a pardon.??“I have never asked for, nor would I accept, a pardon from Mr. Trump.” ??And Davis’ statement to the journal seems to contradict Cohen’s statement to Congress.
??Cohen was sentenced to three years for bank and tax fraud as well as campaign finance violations.
