SEVENTH VICTIM IDENTIFIED IN VALHERMOSO SPRINGS MASS MURDER

The identity of the seventh person killed was released Saturday afternoon by the Morgan County Sheriff's Office.

All of the victim's of the mass murder.

22-year-old decatur resident james benford was the last person to be identified in the investigation.

He was shot and killed along with fellow decatur resident roger jones jr., athens resident jeramy roberts, somerville resident william hodgin and tammy muzzey and emily payne from valhermoso springs.

The identity of the 17-year-old has not been released by the morgan county sheriff's office.

All seven were shot and killed at a home in the 500 block of talucah road in valhermoso springs in morgan county.

Authorities arrived at the home around 11:30 thursday night.

A cousin of emily payne says the home belonged to tammy muzzey.

The morgan county sheriff's says forensic reports are done for two of the victims with three more expected to be completed today.

The rest will be done on monday.

Investigators are working to find a motive for the shooting.
