Changes to Rochester Public Transit

Rochester public transit is implementing two permanent and one temporary change.

"*street and 13th avenue southwest will be the new westbound bus stop location.

It was previously near the canadian honker.

Now let's get a look at some of the other changes you should look out for.xxx beginning today rochester public transit is initiating is a schedule change for routes 6?

"*day se but will be tightening of timing.

The change that we're implementing today really just tweaks that route a little bit more.

It makes it run a little more efficiently for the drivers and for the customers.

Another permanent update ?

"* moving the westbound bus stop on 2nd street southwest near the canadian honker restaurant to 2nd street and 13th avenue southwest.

In the past we had been stopping in front of canadian honker and we had some conflicts with some of the surrounding businesses in terms of our buses waiting to board and it just give us a little more room further down the street there.

The final temporary change involvevs shuffling lots around at the fairgrounds park and ride the county is repaving the midway lot at the county fairgrounds so we're just temporarily, probably about a week, moved public transit also tells me the coronavirus pandemic increased the need for an updated schedule after the transit system lost in ridership.
