Spared sitting through her accused killer's trial .... and having to endure graphic images of her murder.

But, now.....the man who admitted killing her, has decided he wants to go to trial after all.

Newschannel 2's joleen ferris reports from oneida county court.

They were the last words murder victim bianca devins' family wanted to hear .

None .

None 1:48 "i have received a pre-printed form from mr. clark that was received by the court on the date of june 2, 2020 and it is a request to withdraw his plea of guilty" 7:42 "i would, your honor" the judge read from clark's 38-page plea transcript, reminding him of the permanence of the plea he made 4:22 "and on the day you plead guilty, which is february 10th, i told you over and over that you would not be able to come back in court at a later date and change your mind about this.

You told me you understood and you told me you wanted to go forward and you wanted to continue with your plea of guilty" but now, clark is saying his lawyer coerced him 7:40 "athough i believe that it kind of is a conflict of interest having mr. nebush do it because the reason i'm withdrawing my plea is because i believe he ineffectively sustained counseling me and coerced me into pleaing" once again, the judge reminded clark of his own words, at his february plea 6:24 "then i asked mr. nebush and mr. shultz if any of them had placed any kind of pressure on you to enter a plea of guilty and mr. nebush answered, "absolutely not, your honor".

And then i asked you, mr. clark, is that accurate?

Has either attorney put any pressure on you whatsoever to accept this offer that's been made by the district attorney's office and you answered, 'no, your honor'" in the end, the judge agreed to assign clark a new attorney and let the two of them decide whether or not to make a legal motion to withdraw clark's guilty plea.

Victim bianca devins' family wore pink in court to honor her.

They believe brandon clark has no honor.

11:33 "don't think about how to get out of this.

Think of how you can be remorseful for this.

Think about how you can try to atone to a higher power for this crime you committed.

11:44 "don't play games.

Take your punishment.

Give this family some peace" stand up the judge could bring clark back to court as early as next week to formally assign him a new attorney.

Back to you.

> it's a murder case that will be back in court next month... but tonight, two utica firefighters are honored with a state-level award for their actions that started the police investigation.
